Will Eastbridge Finally Make It?

Last Monday, November 11, 2019, Eastbridge participated in the Rodriguez Private Schools Association (ROPRISA) Academic Competition and almost swept all the categories. Of the four subject areas that will be competed on up to the Regional Competition - Araling Palipunan (AP), Science, Spelling and Mathematics - Eastbridge won first place in all except AP where it obtained second place.

Today, all three teams went to the Rizal Private Schools Association (RIPRISA) competition and won third place in Science, second place in Spelling and, for the fourth time in a row, first place in Mathematics. This Saturday, November 16, the Math Team will compete in the Regional Competition in Tagaytay. The question that persists in the mind of the school's coach Teacher Rolyn Perez is, will the kids finally bag the gold in its fourth try? Eastbridge went to the Regional three years ago and came up with third place. Then two years in a row, it ended up with second place each.

The team which is composed of Jayden Isaac Pondoc from Grade 6, Dylan Josant Valerio from Grade 5 and Cedric James Sigua from Grade 4 has a big weight in its  shoulder to bring home the bacon in this fourth try, especially in the face of the Dance Troupe's Regional Championship achievement last September.

Our prayer goes with the team as the kids vie for the gold. Please pray with us.
