Intermediate students from various private schools pitted their mental strength against each other in three subjects - Match, Science and English - in the recently conluded Rodriguez Private Schools Association (ROPRISA) Annual Academic Competition. The event was help last Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Christ the Foundation Christian Academy. Runners up came from various schools which participated but the plum awards all went to Eastbridge contestants who came home with three First Place trophies. This means that Eastbridge has earned the right to represent the town in the soon-to-be-announced Rizal Private Schools Association (RIPRISA) competition.

It's not unusual for Eastbridge to do this but not in all academic areas which also included Araling Panlipunan and Spelling in the past. Other schools sometimes were able to beat our own students at some of them, except in Mathematics where our students always came out winners not just locally but even in the RIPRISA for four consecutive years pre-pandemic. During the last competition in 2019, our Math team, representing Rizal, won in the Regional competition which was held in Tagaytay. Here's a story about that win.

This year's competition will go all the way to the national level for the first time as private school participants have expanded to inlude other school outside of Region IV-A. We look forward to reach even that level, Lord willing.
